Cost: $52/Team for Members; $68/Team for Non-Members
Teams: All recreational or competition teams may register. Limited space available. Check-in will begin at 8:00am, games will begin at 9:00am.

ENTRY RULES

1. Teams consist of 3-4 players ages 16 and up
2. $52.00 per team for members, $68.00 for non-members
3. In order to get the member price at least one player on the team must be a member of MVP Holland
4. Players may only appear on one team’s roster
5. There will be a men’s and women’s division
6. Brackets will be determined after all entry forms are turned in
7. Entry forms must be turned in by March 12, 2009
8. Tournament is capped at 20 teams.

GAME RULES

1. Games are played on a half court to 15 by 1’s and 2’s, win by 2. 30 minute maximum per game.
2. Double elimination
3. A coin flip determines which team receives the ball first
4. The offensive team must pass the ball in before a shot is attempted
5. The ball changes possession after a scored basket…no make it, take it
6. Each player must call their own foul
7. All foul calls are honored
8. After 5 team fouls the opposing team can either shoot from the free throw line for 1 pt. and receive the ball back if they miss, or shoot from the 3 pt. line for 2 pts. and the ball changes possession.
9. The ball must be taken back past the 3 point arch after a defensive rebound
10. Each team is allowed one 30 second time out per game
11. Player substitution is allowed during any dead ball situation
12. Out of bounds consist of the normal lines as well as the mid court line
